Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program provides access to a variety of professional resources when you need assistance with personal or family issues. The program offers assessment and referral services for treatment on a strictly confidential basis.
Adoption Assistance
Capgemini U.S. has developed a policy to provide eligible staff with adoption benefits. These benefits include financial assistance and adoption personal leave. Individuals will be eligible for adoption benefits after six months of service. Eligible adoption-related expenses will be reimbursed to a maximum of $5,000 per child with an additional $1,000 available for the adoption of a special needs child. Most expenses directly related to the adoption are reimbursable as long as they are reasonable and customary in amount and directly connected with the adoption process. These include:
- agency and placement fees
- legal fees and court costs
- medical expenses of the birth mother
- medical expenses of the child, not covered by insurance
- temporary foster care costs
- immigration, immunization and translation fees
- transportation and lodging expenses
Holidays
Capgemini observes seven paid holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day and the Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
Floating Holidays (Personal Days)
In addition to the seven holidays observed by Capgemini, there are two Floating Holidays (Personal Days).
Vacation
If you are a full-time employee, you are eligible for paid vacation time. The amount of paid vacation provided by Capgemini is based on your length of continuous full-time employment with the company and ranges between 15 and 25 days.
Leaves of Absence
Capgemini understands that you may need time off for both planned and unplanned events. Depending upon the reason behind the leave of absence, approved leaves may be paid or unpaid.
Paid Leaves of Absence
Capgemini offers special paid leaves for military duty, jury duty and bereavement.
Unpaid Leaves of Absence
Capgemini offers unpaid leaves of absence including those required under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
