How We Recruit on Campus
At Capgemini, we believe it is essential to recruit dynamic, forward-thinking, action-oriented people in order for our business to succeed. Capgemini cultivates an atmosphere for development that enables YOU to be hands-on, planning for your growth, both horizontally and vertically.
Campus recruiting is organized and executed nationally. While we recruit students throughout the year, our recruitment efforts are focused on fall and spring on-campus recruitment activities at targeted universities.
In addition to recruitment activities, we are heavily involved in a variety of campus activities, which strengthen our presence on your campus. This approach creates a win/win partnership between Capgemini and the faculty, staff, alumni, and graduating students of our key universities. Examples of events in which we are involved include campus career fairs, on-campus information sessions and pre-nights, and class presentations and guest lectures. In addition, we are currently unveiling our Capgemini Signature Event at select universities across North America. This is an opportunity for sophomores and juniors to mix and mingle with Capgemini senior leadership, recent alumni, and some of our client facing consultants. The evening is intended to bring the consulting profession to life and dispel several of the myths around what is means to be a management consultant. To effectively share our messages, we’ll blend presentations, panel discussions, and collaborative exercises and do it all in a high-energy environment.
Candidates normally participate in a series of interviews. If, after the first interview with a Capgemini recruiter, we feel a candidate has the potential to be a strong performer, Capgemini will invite the student in for a series of second round interviews. During the second round interviews, the student has an opportunity to meet with Capgemini professionals at all levels including senior leadership, managers, and staff. Within a short period of time, an offer of employment will be given to those who successfully complete second round interviews.
Those candidates that are chosen to become a part of Capgemini’s campus recruiting process will be guaranteed a YOU-nique recruiting experience with a dedicated recruiter the entire time. Each candidate will also be assigned a peer buddy at offer extension to help answer any questions regarding daily consultant lifestyle, travel, the recruiting process, and various opportunities at Capgemini.
