When You Start

Capgemini offers every college hire extensive learning and development opportunities including an orientation and entry program to familiarize you with Capgemini U.S., its tools, history, processes, procedures, respect at work policy, and the consulting and management skills appropriate for your position within the company.

The initial On-Boarding program lasts two-weeks and is located in Dallas, Texas. Many Campus Hires also have the opportunity to participate in an Extended On-Boarding program that is an additional 5 weeks located across multiple cities including an international location.

Once an offer is extended to you, you will be matched with a peer Buddy. This peer Buddy is typically located in the same office and within the same Business Unit and Service Line as you and will be dedicated to you for the first year of employment. You can rely on your Mentor to answer questions YOU-nique to your situation, give educated advice on any concerns you may have, and help guide you through your first year at the company.

Upon embarking on your career with Capgemini, you will also be assigned a People Manager. This person will be a higher level executive matched to you to help you carve your individual and YOU-nique career path with Capgemini. At Capgemini, you will own your own career and actively participate in the planning of your professional development. Here, you can grow vertically, horizontally, or even invent a route that no one knew existed.

After your new employee program is complete, you will be encouraged to develop a personal continuing education plan that takes advantage of Capgemini U.S.'s extensive learning curricula. Our e-Learning library is hot and is available on line, at your fingertips, when you're ready to learn. In addition, you will always have access to your previously assigned People Manager and Buddy to guide you through your development journey.

As a cornerstone of our ability to lead in the marketplace, Capgemini is dedicated to providing a leading edge learning and development environment for our employees to develop the business, professional, and technical skills needed to support their personal development and career goals.
