THE DNA of Capgemini
At Capgemini, we are composed of talented individuals from various backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, interests and beliefs. We understand the great importance of diversity and inclusion because they help promote worldly cultural experience where everybody’s strengths, perspectives and passions are acknowledged and embraced. By leveraging the similarities and differences, they enable us to come up with innovative ideas for our clients and to also deepen and enrich the relationships with them. We define diversity and inclusion (D&I) as the backbone of our DNA.
There are several avenues of diversity education and awareness. These include:
- A repository of events, festivals, and forums that can be leveraged for future events and are easily available within an internal HR portal
- Local meetings/events conducted by Diversity Affinity/Awareness Groups
- Special-interest networks that operate either on a national or local office basis
- Internal and external educational resources listed within an internal HR portal
- National Mentoring Program that enables our employees to pair up and connect with other consultants from various backgrounds and interests and gain insightful knowledge to help build and develop their career goals
