Andy Mulholland

Global Chief Technology Officer, Capgemini

Andy Mulholland joined Capgemini in 1996 with thirteen years of experience in senior IT roles. As an early pioneer in network technology with a focus on IT as opposed to computing, led Andy to recognized International status on Internet based technology. His two major white papers written in the last five years proposed Technology Architectural models that were subsequently adopted throughout the Technology industry.

Mulholland’s role of Global Chief Technology Officer includes advising the Capgemini Group management board on all aspects of technology-driven market changes. Mulholland serves on the technology advisory boards of several organizations and enterprises, including Cal IT, the Californian State Technology Board, and the Open Mobile Alliance an industry board charged with setting global standards for all aspects of the Mobility market.

He is particularly knowledgeable on the alignment of IT technology to serve business aims with emphasis on improving the communication and use of information in business processes. He has worked in all major industry sectors on strategic initiatives to deliver business advantage from Technology and coined the name ‘Techno Business’.

An experienced senior Executive with strong skills in strategic, tactical, and management aspects of technology, and services provision, he has been the founder, or co-founder, of four technology companies that have either been acquired by leading multinational technology companies, or in one case gone public on the small capital NASDAQ market.

Mulholland has a degree from Essex University. He is a regular guest speaker at IT events in the USA and Europe, with frequent television appearances and quotes in the Press.
